Maine Living History Association

The year is 1865 and the American Civil War has raged on for four long years.

Join us as The Maine Living History Association in Partnership with the Viles Arboretum host Living Historians and descendents as they present the skirmishes, surrender, and life of that emotional time in our nation's history.

In 2012, we asked one of our documenary makers to show more than the military life. CaTV did a great job!

Special Guests...

Maine Living History Association is honored to be partnering with the Viles Arboretum to bring this event to Augusta. This will be the first of many events we will present in the coming years.

Bangor Daily News Blogger, Brian Swartz wrote an amazing blog about the upcoming event. To see it, click here: Appomattox
